Systems programmer, 25+ years of C and C++.

Started out in embedded development and device driver work,
spent a good stretch building desktop applications, and more
recently moved into Rust.

Grew up alongside the early internet -- dial-up modems, that
handshake sound, the whole thing. Probably explains the look
